Okay…we just played the court tavern in New Brinswick, NJ…not a lot of people per say, but the people who were there really knew their audience etiquette…we heard applause, screaming, clapping and the occasional “I’ll have a Tom Collins…what, you don’t know what that is…okay, I’ll have a blue Hawaiin…thank you.”
And, of course, we blew the place out of the water. E played with wreckless abanetermination and purpose. He also played with anger, resentment, bitterness and revenge…revenge for the life that was taken from him…bitterness tow amold and made rock star history. Let’s face it…Al was absolutely beautiful tonight…that’s all we have to say about that…absolutely beautiful. ..even Roniie was impressed.
When Al walked into the 7-11 feeling all triumphant and satisfied we watched as he got himself some corn chips and some micro
wave-heated bean-dip and enjoyed his time alone. We watched as Al lit up a cigerette and blew amoke into the misty night air. This is a moment in time as you might imagine…Al got laid and the rest of us waited at 7-11 and surprisingly waited longer than 5 minutes. Al really had it going on tonight.. only a musician can understand…that unique when you go from satisfying an audience to satisfying a beautiful woman and then take a few minutes for yourself to cherrish the moment. Al took those moments and made them memories…god bless him.

East Coast Tour Day 4
June 19, 2010
By webmaster in Info
Well…what can we say…on the evening that the Los Angeles Lakers won the world championship, the morgansterns taught Kenny’s a lesson they won’t soon forget. We may as well have dropped an atom bomb on that place…we blew everyone’s asses off including a disgruntled waitress and a guy from Minnesota named Crust. Crust complimented Ronnie on his nimble wrist and his supple boobies…it’s true, though…Ron does have quite a nimble wrist.
Al played like Rafer Johnson and Jamie played like Michael Caine.
In case you’re wondering, both Bens played with skill, beauty and grace…with music in their blood and love in their hearts.
The show was inspired, bold and passionate…the audience was moved and Rodney Mollura has the gout.

East Coast Tour – Day Three
June 16, 2010
By webmaster in Info
Well, the Morgansterns pretty much destroyed the The Saint last night.. Frankly, the place didn’t know what hit it…we killed.
After the owner thanked us for changing his life and after the whole band got laid, we accepted the official award for: “Best band that ever played “the Saint” who also likes borscht.” …which they only give out twice a week, apparently.
We met a guy named Beef and a girl named Michelle who makes pins and buttons to promote right-winged hippies who only listen to Twisted Sister records.
She was lovely…and bought an official Morganstern’s T-shirt, immediately put it on and then offered her services. (”Services” to be defined in a future post)
The crowd was so in awe of what they saw, that when we finished certain songs, you could hear a pin drop…crickets chirped happily from the fast food kitchen in the back and Beef tried to subdue his excitement by screaming.
The owner really did tell us we were one of the best bands that ever stepped foot on his stage. He thanked us by not paying us for the show and sticking Ben G with a $30.00 drink tab.
He told us to come on back if you ever want to try it again, cause I told you once, you son of a bitch, I’m the best that’s ever been…and he played…”Something, something, something…devil’s in the house of the risin’ sun”
In summation:
We came…kicked some ass…and all got laid. (Accept for Al, who only got to third base)

(”Third base” to be defined in future post)
More to come…
Lost Sunglasses — Tour in jeopardy

Well…Jamie lost his sun glasses. Obviously, the entire band is devastated…although thoughts of shutting down the tour are ever present, the record company has kept us going with inspiring words from its CEO, Tony Barlow including:
“Did Al and what’s his name get off the plane yet?”
“How much did you say that extra day of drum rentals will cost?”
And of course the awe inspiring:
“That’s on YOUR dime, buddy.”
East Coast Tour Day 2…

Day 2:
Nobody dead.
Our new motel has a pool and a gym…so Ronnie hung out in there shirtless for 5 hours.
We met a fabulous waitress at the cobblest one diner in Eaton, NJ named Tessa…
Hope to see you at the Saint, Tess…we’ll get u a cd on the house. (Please bring you cobblestone ID with you)
Now passing the cabinet factory…
Now passing Ichiban, japanese cuisine…
by the way, we became great friends with some of the locals…like Tessa, for example. She placed Ronnie’s order for him and wished us the best at the Saint tonight.
As close as we’ve gotten closer to some of the generous, respectful, genuine warm people out in these parts…like Tessa for example.
Jamie was embarrassed to order not one but two glaases of milk to wash down his waffle so he made Ronnie order the second glass for him……..TESSA knew just what to do!!!!!
…As she placed that second glass right in front of Jamie…
And through it all, we perservere…as we wind our way around the New Jersey Shore in Asbury Park.
Although we haven’t gotten nearly enough sleep over the last two days, (about 20 hours) spirits are still high. Ronnie and Ben, our fearless drivers hardly ever get lost or yell at each other to the point where everyone else feels very uncomfortable.
Al maintains his stoic nature as the fields and trees whip by the highway’s side.
Jamie stumbles upon some outstanding sunglasses at a rite aid in this quaint, homey town…
The sun glasses look so good on him that we celebrated by emailing Tess just to say hi.
It really is remarkable how good that particular pair of sunglasses look on Jamie……or is it Jamie that makes those sunglasses look good….what do you think?

Checking our borrowed instruments in the motel…amonst several complaints…
We just woke up by the way…it’s almost 3 in the afternoon.
